The Top Yough begins 10 miles upstream of our Upper Yough put-in. It offers a narrow, boulder strewn series of rapids that drops at 100 feet per mile. It is a very technical run with continuous whitewater.
The feature attractions are Swallow Falls (25 feet) and Swallowtail Falls (8'). At high water this is one long rapid. At lower flows, it is a slalom course through the boulders that adventurous people can paddle in our thrill seeker inflatable kayaks.
