| The
Top Yough
begins 10 miles upstream of our Upper Yough put-in. It offers a
narrow, boulder strewn series of rapids that drops at 100 feet per
mile. It is a very technical run with continuous whitewater. |

|
| The
feature attractions are Swallow Falls (25 feet) and Swallowtail
Falls (8'). At high water this is one long rapid. At lower flows,
it is a slalom course through the boulders that adventurous people
can paddle in our thrill seeker inflatable kayaks. |
